Handy HTML Helper - Legal

Terms of Service

Last updated: September 12, 2026

These Terms of Service (these "Terms") govern your use of Handy HTML Helper (the "App") on Android and iOS devices. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the App.

1. The service

The App is a free, fully on-device utility that lets you open supported social-media platforms in a built-in browser and save your loaded friends list as an HTML file. The App provides no accounts, subscriptions, or ongoing services.

2. Licence

Subject to these Terms, the developer grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

  • sell, rent, lease, resell, or redistribute the App;
  • copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent the prohibition is not enforceable under applicable law;
  • use the App in violation of applicable law.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

3. Local operation

The App operates entirely on your device and does not collect, store, or transmit personal data. See the App's Privacy Policy for the full details of our data practices.

4. Third-party platforms and content

  • The App opens third-party websites (such as social media platforms) in a built-in browser. You are solely responsible for complying with each platform's own terms of service and privacy policy when you use them, including any restrictions on automated access or bulk retrieval of content.
  • The HTML file the App saves contains content (such as names, profile links, and images) published by third parties and loaded from those platforms. That file remains on your device, and you are solely responsible for how you use and share it. The developer does not control, endorse, or take responsibility for third-party content or its accuracy.

5. No warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The developer does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that saved files will be complete or accurate.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the App, however caused. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including Australian consumer law.

7. Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms at any time and at our sole discretion. Any changes will become effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms within the App or through app store updates. Your continued use of the App following any modifications constitutes your formal acceptance of the revised Terms.

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Handy HTML Helper (the "App") operates regarding your privacy, data collection, and security on Android and iOS devices.

1. Overview and local operation

The App is designed as a fully self-contained, standalone application that operates locally on your device. We respect your privacy and are committed to ensuring that your experience remains completely private.

2. Zero data collection

The App does not collect, store, share, process, or transmit any personal user data, user accounts, identifiable information, or custom marketing analytics. Because the App operates entirely on your device, we have no access to your personal information or how you use the App.

Note: the App includes an in-app browser that opens third-party websites (such as social media platforms). When you log in to, or browse, a third-party site, your account credentials, browsing activity, and any information you share are transmitted to and handled by that third party in accordance with its own privacy policy. The App does not access, see, or retain your login credentials or anything you do on third-party sites, and we are not responsible for their data practices. Similarly, the HTML file you choose to save contains content loaded from a third-party site and remains on your device; you are responsible for how you use and share that file.

3. Crash analysis and diagnostics

Any crash reports, diagnostic data, or performance telemetry are handled entirely and automatically by the mobile operating system (Android / iOS) and the respective built-in store infrastructure (Google Play Console and App Store Connect).

  • This is not custom code or third-party tracking software written or integrated by the developer.
  • No diagnostic data or crash logs are sent directly to the developer.
  • These services are governed solely by the privacy policies and terms of Apple Inc. and Google LLC as part of native platform OS and app store stability services. You can manage or opt-out of sharing diagnostic data through your device's system settings.

4. Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to modify, amend, or update this Privacy Policy at any time and at our sole discretion. Any changes will become effective immediately upon posting the updated policy within the App or through app store updates. Your continued use of the App following any modifications constitutes your formal acceptance of the revised privacy policy.

5. Complaints and inquiries (Australia)

If you have a complaint regarding how your privacy is handled or believe there has been a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), you may contact our developer support team using the email address provided below. We will review and respond to all inquiries. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.
